What makes the TravellerMade awards particularly significant is how they are voted: confidentially, by fellow network members. These are the finest luxury travel agencies in the world, assessing each other's work without commercial bias. There is no more credible peer recognition in the industry.

The Best Adventure Designer Category

"Adventure" in the TravellerMade context means something quite specific — and quite different from the activity-holiday segment. It refers to travel experiences that challenge, transform, and surprise clients who have already seen much of the world. Experiences that require relationships, expertise, and access that no amount of money alone can buy.

New Zealand, Ahipara's home territory, is perfectly suited to this definition. Fiordland's remote interior. The backcountry rivers of the South Island.
